What happens if I miss a booked activity?

If you miss an already booked activity, the consequences and possible solutions vary depending on the provider and the circumstances. In most cases, there is no automatic entitlement to a refund or rebooking.

Immediate actions when missing an activity:

  • Immediately inform the local activity provider, whose contact details you can find in your travel documents
  • For activities with local Tourlane partners, also contact your local representative directly
  • Document the reason for missing the activity (e.g., delay of public transport)
  • Keep all relevant receipts that could prove the reason for missing the activity

Possible consequences:

  • For most activities: If you do not appear at the agreed time, your booking expires without any right to a refund
  • Some providers may offer accommodating solutions, such as participation at a later date, if available
  • In cases of force majeure or provable reasons beyond your control, exceptions may be made in some cases
