After Booking Confirmation: All Steps Until Departure
After your booking confirmation, there are several important steps to follow before your departure. Here you will learn what to expect and what actions you need to take.
Your Payments:
- After booking confirmation, you will receive your invoice for the land program by email
- Payment is typically made in two parts: 25% deposit immediately and 75% final payment due one month before departure
- If you booked flights through us, you will receive a separate invoice that must be paid in full (no installment payment option)
Your To-Dos Before the Trip:
- Pay the deposit and the remaining balance by the due date
- For externally booked flights: Send flight information via the contact form or upload it to the customer portal no later than 60 days before departure
- For flights booked through us: Pay the flight invoice in full
- Arrange necessary entry documents and visas in good time. For your visa application, you can download an overview of your travel itinerary in the Tourlane app or via your personal travel link.
Travel Documents and Check-in:
- 72-48 hours before departure (depending on the airline): You can check in for your flight directly via the airline's website using the airline code on your flight documents
- Approximately 2 weeks before departure, we will make your travel documents available in the Tourlane app and via your personal travel link (TripViz)
- Your travel documents include, depending on the destination, vouchers and other necessary documents. For some destinations, no documents are available before departure or they will be provided on-site.
- Important: For some destinations, documents are only provided on-site or are not required for the trip.
