How can I request a specific vehicle type (automatic, larger vehicle, etc.)?

If you need a specific type of vehicle for your trip or would like to change your already booked rental car, this is possible with sufficient advance notice.

Information about your current rental car:

• In the Tourlane app you will find all important details about your booked rental car, including vehicle class and features
• Via your personal travel link you also have direct access to all rental car information and can view it at any time
• Additionally, information about the vehicle type, equipment, and included services is contained in your travel documents

How to change your vehicle type:

• To request a specific vehicle type (e.g., automatic transmission, larger vehicle, SUV), please contact us via the contact form
• Such changes should be requested at least 30 days before your departure
• In your request, please specify as precisely as possible which vehicle characteristics you need and why

• The availability of certain vehicle types depends on the provider and travel destination
• Changes to the vehicle type may involve additional costs
• The earlier you communicate your change requests, the better we can accommodate them
