How do I choose my seat for the flight?

To select your seat for the flight, you have several options:

First, check if seats have already been reserved for you:

  • If seats were booked through Tourlane, they are listed in your travel plans under the respective flight as "Seats".
  • If you booked seats yourself through the airline's website, they are only visible there.
  • Generally, you can always check the airline's website to see if seats have already been reserved for you. For this, you usually need to log in with your booking reference (PNR) and your last name on the airline's website.

If no seats have been reserved yet or you want to change them:

Online Check-in: The easiest way to select your seat is during online check-in. This is usually possible 24 to 48 hours before departure. Visit the airline's website or use their mobile app and look for the "Online Check-in" or "Check-in" option.

Enter Booking Details: Enter your booking number and last name to retrieve your booking. You can find the booking number in your booking confirmation.

Seat Selection: During the check-in process, you will be shown a seat map where you can see available seats. Select the desired seat. Some airlines offer the option to choose a preferred seat for a fee, such as a seat with extra legroom or a window seat.

Confirmation: Confirm your selection and complete the check-in. You will then receive your digital boarding pass, which you can print or save on your mobile device.
